Datacenter/Network

Our server are located in the well-known datacenter RedBus Interhouse, in Amsterdam. Due to the placement in the vicinity of the intercontinental internetconnections, this datacenter has many so-called 'uplinks' with the internet. By these means our network, Reasonnet, guarantees us fast connections from and to our servers and so to your site.

RedBus has, as a high-tech datacenter, a lot of technologies to prevent failure of servers and other equipment:

4 heavy-duty diesel-generators	In case of a power outage, this situation is quickly known by special equipment and the generators are automatically started. The generators comply to the N+1 rule: only 3 generators are necessary, but for optimal redundance 4 are available.
VESDA with a gas-extinguisher installation	The Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus is extermely sensitive for little smoke particles. By these means, an alarm is quickly raised via the Building management System. Next, a special gas is used to extinguish the fire without damaging the equipment.
24/7/365 on-site security	Due to demanded identification, personal PAC-cards with different levels of access to the various parts of the datacenter and cameras outside, inside and on the datafloor, our servers are optimally secured.
Air-Conditioning	To dissipate the heat from the many servers, Reasonnet makes use of an advanced air-conditioning system. Temperature is kept on 21°C (± 2°C). The relative moisture is set at 50% (± 10%). The BMS continuously monitors these values.
